Program Description

Kieser University offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems, which studies the utilization of computers in business. By utilizing hardware, operating systems, networking, programming and database management students take part in problem solving in relation to business and also focus their attention on information and business technology as well. Students begin to realize the importance of a business driver to manage corporate information technology resources. During the application and management components of the program, students perform teamwork with community organizations and develop actual project experience.

Kieser University provides the students an understanding a business problem, analyzing it by using appropriate tools and recommending an appropriate business solution, and insists that students become proficient in the use of computer languages, databases and other applications of information technology. Students receive assistance in developing competency in both oral and written communication, and are prepped for entry-level professional positions in management information systems. Students are instructed to conduct computer-assisted research.
