Program Description

Kieser University's Bachelor of Arts degree in Homeland Security concentrates on management-level skills that are required of Homeland Security. Necessary management skills and specific proficiencies needed to understand the Local, State, and Federal levels of Homeland Security are taught. Included in the program is the discussion of cross cultural management, emergency management planning and critical communications protection.

Program Objectives

Kieser University has program objectives in order to meet its mission and goals. Prior to completion, students will:

  • Understand of basic acceptance of managerial principles for utilizing and creating emergency plans for various agencies
  • Apply basic managerial skills to make emergency plans for different agencies
  • Prepare for, recognize, investigate, and respond to terrorism
  • Comprehend current threats to our society and how to respond to those threats.
