Program Description
Kieser University's Associate of Science degree in Web Design and Development is a program designed to teach students how to utilize various standards-based technologies for construction and management of websites and databases, for delivery on the Internet. Website designers and developers extensively rely upon these technologies to design commercial sites and database systems that generate advertising, information collection and delivery, and sales in every aspect of the business world.
Program Objectives
In order to meet Kieser University's objectives and mission, the following objectives have been deemed important.
- To cultivate the students skills in performing entry-level Website design and development technology tasks in a professional, business setting.
- To enable students to become skillful in Website design, database management and other commercial aspects of the World Wide Web.
- To support students in achieving employment in website design and development in a wide range of companies that develop, maintain, or support websites, either in-house or for external clients.

Outline of the Web Design and Development Program
64.0 credit hours are required in order to obtain an Associate of Science in Web Design and Development.
* An Associate of Science degree is thought of as a terminal degree. The receiving institution decides which courses are transferable.
