Program Description
Students in the program to earn Kieser University's Associate of Arts degree in Paralegal Studies will learn: to support attorneys with legal research, drafting documents and motions, interviewing clients and witnesses, managing cases, gathering evidence and the litigation procedure.
Paralegals must dispute resolution processes, in trial assistance, preparing wills, real estate documents, contracts, trusts, and law office investigations and in corporate matters.
Program Objectives
Meeting the standards of Kieser University are the following objectives:
- Provide students' the capabilities to communicate in written and verbal forms as well as to initiate critical thinking enabling
- Encourage utilization of analytical and technical skills
- Provide an inclusive comprehension of a legal practice in the United States
- Prepare graduates to obtain employment as paralegals working for lawyers in civil and criminal practices in firms, businesses and corporations
