Program Description
Kieser University's Associate of Science degree in Information Technology is intended to provide students the required skills to obtain an entry-level position in the field of network engineering with an emphasis on security support. Students are prepped for the industry-accepted competency examinations.
Program Objetives
Students gain the following skills and knowledge:
- Manage and troubleshoot hardware, software and services for single, mixed and multi-user environments
- Inspection of security measures to protect data, and the guidance of personnel in relation to protection of data
- More knowledgeable in theory and practice of network management
- Obtain field positions such as technical support specialist, help-desk technician, systems administrator or computer security professional
- Critical thinking and communicating effectively
