Program Description
The American Culinary Federation accredits the Capital Culinary Institute of Kieser University. The Culinary Arts Associate of Science degree entails hands-on experience, laboratory work and academic preparation. Students will gain a well-rounded understanding in food, its preparation and handling and cooking from basic to advanced. Also, students will be able to benefit from an internship that will allow them to prepare for entry-level positions in the food service industry.
Program Objectives
Below are objectives specifically designed by Kieser University to provide students with the ability to:
- Prepare, handle and cook all foods - basic and creative
- Produce nutritious, appetizing and appealing meals and specialty items
- Obtain jobs in the food service industry

Program Outline
Associate of Science degree in Culinary Arts, requires a completion of 84.0 credit hours.
An Associate of Science Degree is not transferable.
