Program Description

Kieser University's Associate of Science degree in Computer Programming offers the participating students the creation of design, analysis and implementation of highly effective programs, solve task-oriented problems and use multiple programming languages as well as troubleshoot applications when it becomes necessary.

Program Objetives

The objectives outlined below are all in keeping with Kieser University's mission and objectives.

  • Teaching the fundamentals of computer information systems
  • Providing skills to allow students to effectively perform by means of all programming languages
  • Teaching troubleshooting skills that will allow task-oriented problems to be handled
  • Aiding in the placement of entry-level employment as computer programmers

Prerequisite for Major Courses

The student is required to uphold a G.P.A. of 2.00 or higher in their general education courses.

Program Outline

Completion of 72.0 credit hours are necessary to earn an Associate of Science degree in Computer Programming.

Note: The Associate of Science Degree is Non-transferable as it is a terminal degree.
